Last Sunday . . .
In our continued exploration of Zest, we spent Sunday exploring the Eureka moments of creation. Each class read Rosie Revere, Engineer
and then we had an open-ended period to play with a well-stocked Tinker Table. The idea behind a Tinker Table is to support a fluid and creative exploration that lends itself to STEM projects. (So often we craft or create artistic creations, but this particular set of materials is geared towards invention.) The kids had great fun with it, creating all sorts of little inventions. There was a full-length-arm-cupholder, a horsefly catcher, and several puppets.
The teachers were Timmy M., Alicia M., and Adam F.
