For the month of September, First UU is supporting Safe to Sleep.
Safe to Sleep is a temporary homeless women’s shelter, primarily supported by donations from individuals and area churches.
On Saturday, October 7th, PROMO will hold its first annual Seek Pride Scavenger Hunt presented by Hotel Vandivort in Downtown Springfield. If you wish you can put together a team and explore LGBT ally businesses downtown and learn more about local LGBT history, all while competing for first place in this adventure.
Do you have your team yet? You may gather your friends, family, or coworkers into teams of 2-5 people and support PROMO’s expanding work in Southwest Missouri. And if you can’t participate (or can) for the scavenger hunt join an after party hosted by Hotel Vandivort from 5-7pm.
